Poached Eggs

1 POACHED EGG

Prep time: 1 minute
Cook Time: about 45 seconds
Use:  medium smartbowl

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup water
  • 1 extra large egg
  • kosher salt and black pepper

Directions:

  1. Fill medium smartbowl™with ½cup of water (make sure to use the appropriate amount of water). Break 1 egg into the water. Place the lid on the smartbowl™, seal the lid, and press valve to release air. Microwave for 45 seconds.
  2. Check for desired doneness. Add additional cooking time if needed in 10- to 15-second increments.
  3. Drain egg gently on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

2 POACHED EGG

Prep time:1 minute
Cook Time: about 1¾minutes
Use:  large smartbowl

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup water
  • 2 extra large egg
  • kosher salt and black pepper

Directions:

  1. Fill large smartbowl™with water up to the 1½-cup mark. Break 2 eggs into the water. Place the lid on the smartbowl™, seal the lid, and press valve to release air. Microwave for 1minute, 45 seconds.
  2. Add additional cooking time if needed in 10- to 15- second increments.
  3. Drain eggs gently on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

2 POACHED EGG

Prep time:1 minute
Cook Time: about 1¾minutes
Use:  large smartbowl

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup water
  • 3 extra large egg
  • kosher salt and black pepper

Directions:

  1. Fill large smartbowl™with water up to the 1½-cup mark. Break 3 eggs into the water. Place the lid on the smartbowl™, seal the lid, and press valve to release air. Microwave for 2 minutes.
  2. Add additional cooking time if needed in 15- second increments.
  3. Drain eggs gently on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
