Serve with veggies your way, a green salad, or on whole grain buns. We like avocados, tomatoes, mayo, red onions and Dijon mustard on our burgers.  Great for kids who want to cook for themselves.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • ¾ cup pear or apple, diced small
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 2 tablespoons herbs or spices to taste, we love cumin and smoked paprika
  • Kosher Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients for the turkey burger in a large smartbowl™. Form four, ¼ pound- patties. You can do these ahead and  freeze wrapped until you’re ready to use.
  2. To Serve: Place a thawed turkey patty in a medium smartbowl. Place the lid on the smartbowl, seal, and press the valve to release the air. Microwave for about 2 minutes and 20 seconds, adding time, in 20-second intervals, until your turkey patty is moist and cooked through to the center. Repeat to warm more patties.
