Developed by Chef Art and his friend, Chef Allen Wong, this sweet and savory teriyaki-inspired glaze is great on chicken, fish, pork and steak.

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Tamari or reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, toasted
Directions
  1. Combine the brown sugar, butter into your a small smartbowl™. Place the lid on the smartbowl, seal  and press the valve to release air. Microwave 40 seconds, stir to combine.
  2. Remove the lid and add the honey, olive oil, Tamari, Dijon mustard, ginger and sesame seeds and stir until incorporated. Place the lid on the smartbowl, seal  and press the valve to release air. Set aside until cool, then refrigerate until ready to use.
