This is a composed salad and we like to serve with the greens on the bottom and the individual ingredients fanned on top.  To incorporate the dressing you can either shake the bowl together or keep it on the side and dip.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter lettuce, shredded
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, torn
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, leaves picked, washed and dried
  • 1 tomato, ripe, cut in to eighths
  • ¼ cup black olives you love, pitted
  • ¼ cup red bell peppers, seeded, cut into strips with white parts removed
  • 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ can tuna packed in water, drained, broken up with a fork
  • Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg your way
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Mediterranean Salad Dressing, or extra virgin olive oil
Directions
  1. Place all greens, vegetables and herbs in to a large smartbowl™. Press the lid on your smartbow and keep refrigerated.
  2. Pour the dressing over the salad and top with an egg your way and enjoy!
